Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for Senior Software Engineers with direct experience designing, delivering software and leading other developers. This role will be both to develop products and deliver customer projects, therefore strong verbal and written communication skills are desired. Responsibilities include Agile backend development, collaborating and communicating with clients and other team members, being an active member of the engineering team, collaborating with development and client facing tasks when needed.
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in software development projects with client facing responsibilities. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. (equivalent experience). Experience in backend or full stack development of large-scale systems in Java, Python or similar technologies. Basic/Intermediate understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Google cloud or Azure). Comfortable learning and growing in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment.
Required English Level: intermediate to advanced. Preferred: Search technologies experience (Solr and Elasticsearch are a plus). Java experience (JDK11) and related frameworks/tools (Spring, Micronaut, Jackson, Gradle). SQL and NoSQL. Docker and Kubernetes. Cloud experience. Performance and profiling of in-browser code.
